The archeological site of Delphi is one of the most important and richest sites in Greece. Delphi was for centuries the religious and spiritual center of the ancient Greeks as there was the pan-Hellenic sanctuary and the most important oracle of Ancient Greece.
Delphi, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracts a large number of Greeks and foreign visitors throughout the year. Due to the archeological site, neighboring Arachova, but also the ski resort of Parnassos, has experienced great growth.
